The Time Is Now

Afternoon Guys,

I just wanted to update you guys, and make this more of a personal blog, rather than trying to imitate double t nation.

Like I wrote on double t nation, my first day was awesome. I attended fan day, and was able to meet some of the guys that I've heard so much about. ( It's like finally getting to meet your favorite celebrity). Deandre Washington and Tyson Williams are good friends of mine, and they were excited to see me officially in Lubbock. Word got around rather quickly about me walking on (do not really know how), but overall most players were really cool. I got to eat with the players and get a taste of that D1 life! Let me just say, it was much more elaborate than anything I've experienced. I got to see the inside of the facilities, and meet Cody Davis. Yikes! He is much taller in person than I imagined! He towers over me, and truthfully I was a little hurt. I'm a tad bit sensitive over my height. After that, me and Tyson really sat and talked about his experiences and what it took for him to  make it where he is today. I believe I can do this, and dammit I AM READY. After TTU let me watch their practice, I noticed how familiar I was with their rules and technique. I know at this point I will be a red shirt walk-on, and I am very content with that. A year under this program (granted the coaches will still be there) will only make better prepared for a very serious and competitive spring. All-in-all, I just want to get to Monday, and turn some heads!

At the end of the day, I just have to stay hungry!
